For instance, if hot and cold water are brought into contact, the way the temperature evens out depends on which of the liquids is inside and which is on the outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heat of evaporation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The experiment set has the equipment to investigate factors favouring evaporation and to demonstrate that the heat of evaporation by far the greatest contributor to the cooling process, followed by apart from thermal conduction, convection and radiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The phenomenon of supercooling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The experiment set not only allows the melting curve of ice and the freezing curve of water to be recorded, it also allows the phenomenon of supercooling to be demonstrated.
