The natural urge to explore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Many questions that preschool children ask adults begin with “Why is…” and “How does…”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every child has a desire to discover and explore. However, this childlike curiosity will wither if it is not encouraged by adults at the right time. Therefore, guided research and discovery is the best way to open up the fascination of nature to children. The MEKRUPHY system fulfills this goal in preschools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collaborative experimentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Current studies show that scientific experimentation in preschool age has a significant impact on the language development of children. Collaborative experimentation naturally creates incentives for verbalising procedures, observations, and hypotheses. It also promotes social competence to a considerable extent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, through their own experimentation, gross and fine motor skills are developed, as well as concentration, perseverance, observation skills, and self-confidence are significantly increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ideal small group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Experience shows that preschool children prefer to conduct experiments alone or with their adult caregiver. This is best achieved in a small group, ideally consisting of four children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the MEKRUPHY system provides small groups of four children. All equipment or device parts used by the children are available in quadruple or, in the case of magnets, stands, and test tubes, eightfold. Only the parts used solely by the adult caregiver are present in the experiment set in single quantities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High Quality instead of “Low Cost”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The MEKRUPHY system does not provide toys for three- to five-year-olds but rather age-appropriate, robust experimentation devices made of high-quality materials.
