Experiment set BIOLOGY 7 ADDESTATION

Description

A wide-rangeing subject area

Physiology is the study of the biophysical function of living things. This wide-ranging subject area is ideally suited to investigation using highly sensitive sensors in conjunction with the MGA.

The students learn about the phenomenon of osmosis, come to understand the significance of large surface areas combined with relatively small volumes, examine enzyme activity as a function of concentration, substrate and temperature, marvel at the strong cooling effect caused by the evaporation of liquids and analyse their heartbeat and ECGs.

Six different sensors

When used in conjunction with the MGA, the six different high-precision sensors contained in this experiment set offer a wide variety of possibilities for investigating the subject areas described.
